I will look upon the Lamb is a worship
song written in 1990 for inclusion on the
Arizona Praise II album. This 2023 version adds a
new opening verse reflecting upon the cross
where The Lamb of God was sacrificed “Once For All.”
The remaining lyrics are a profession of faith and
Vision of the moment when the believer beholds
The face of Jesus.

Darkness covered all the land
On the cross the Son of Man
Innocent and crucified

Father forgive for them for what they do
