STUDIO NOTES:
Dom Franco and Randy Rigby played together in 3 other groups before
Joining BETHLEHEM. They collaborated in the Studio and on stage,
working to create guitar and steel harmony parts.
Their 1971 release entitled: “One More Mile” by WILDWOOD EXPRESS is the basis for this song. New lyrics were written by Dom Franco at the suggestion of a former member of the band. A nostalgic look at the years spent traveling And sharing the love of God. The song title: “One More Time” reflects the Longing to get the old band back together to play again…
Years later some of the members of Bethlehem played together at
a Calvary Chapel reunion concert, and there was talk of a possible
Pacific Northwest Tour. However Randy passed away before that
came together.

ONE MORE TIME words & music by: Dom Franco Copyright (c.) 2023
I remember the band, and all the music we played,
Singing songs all across this land back in our younger days
It was the Word of God, that gave us reason and rhyme
I wish that we could play together one more time.
But all that traveling became old, and all our amps & drums
got sold, I wish that we could play together one more time.
And I remember the day, Randy called me to say, that he’d been tryin
to book some gigs for our band to play. He could borrow new gear
From his friends in LA and he was lining up a tour for us in May.
we won’t play hard rock and roll, we always had a lot of soul
He wished that we could play together one more time.
Those were the last words I heard him say, cause God called him
home the next day I wish that we could play together one more time.
Now with Randy gone, just how could we go on, and I guess we’re Gonna have to wait to sing heavens song, well it’s just like they say,
God is just a prayer away and we’ll see Jesus and all our loved ones
on that day. When the good Lord takes us home we’ll be singing around God’s throne I believe we’ll play together one more time.
And In our new forever home, we will know as we are known,
And, I believe we’ll play together one more time. (One more Time)
And, I believe we’ll be together for all time.
